The brief for the reception for Claire & Danny's wedding was "colour" ...so that is exactly what we did! The two vibrant colours of fuschia and orange were a standout and looked fabulous in the function room at The Ship Inn at South Bank. Fresh gerbera flowers were submerged with floating candles. Coloured draping on the ceiling teamed with fairy lighting and a fairy light backdrop provided an amazing ambience and the bridal table dressing completed the picture. We loved working with Claire to bring her vision to life!
Veronica and mark celebrated their marriage with a gorgeous cocktail style reception at Tempo restaurant at the Queensland Rugby Club. This beautiful venue has stunning views overlooking our river and the Story Bridge. Three different styles of centrepiece were used to dress the tables and the stylish furniture of leather ottomans, lounges, mirrored coffee tables and cushions made for a very classy and sophisticated style.

The afternoon sunlight in the City Lights marquee at Riverlife in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane looks divine! And when the sun set, the guests entered to a sparkling roof with fairy lights. Sweet florals by Elyssium Blooms featured on the guest tables and we had a fab MR & MRS sign with bridal posies on the bridal table. A beautiful reception to match their ceremony.
We followed Emily & Damien's yellow and purple theme through to the reception room with sashes, runners, fresh florals and candle holders. Fairy lighting on the roof twinkled throughout the night and hanging tealight holders lookes fabulous along the deck area. To top it off we had personalised decals on the front door, bar area and on the mirrors in the rest rooms.

Damien said he was lost for words and got a lump in his throat when he saw how transformed the venue was!!! The beautiful function room at The Ship Inn at South Bank in Brisbane came up a treat after the BBW styling team weaved our magic! We dressed the room using beautiful white chiffon ceiling draping with fairy lights, a fairy light backdrop, sweet candelabras and silver organza chair sashes. The fairy lighting continued out on the verandah where we had dressed cocktail tables as well. To complete the picture we provided a pesonalied mirror and easel at the entrance, and a cute personalised mirror and chalkboard on the present table.
Fresh and zesty!! With yellow being Anna & Tom's feature colour we certainly had some fun with this reception dressing at Riverlife at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane. Our contemporary podiums housed a divine floral display at the top of the Kangaroo Point cliffs overlooking the river, and where then transferred to the reception marquee to welcome guests. The cocktail reception featured the colourful yellow cala lilly and fresh lemon centrepieces, teamed with our real wax LED candles in yellow. Fairy lighting throughout the entire marquee with yellow and white paper lanterns gave the reception area a fabulous ambience and provided the perfect party environment for Anna, Tom and all of their guests!
The Ship Inn at South Bank is such a great location for a wedding reception. We loved dressing the room and featured lots of fairy lighting on the ceiling, backdrop and verandah. Natalie & Jason's colour for the day - royal blue - looked fabulous in chair sashes and coloured tealight votives.
The Stamford Plaza Hotel is a traditionally beautiful hotel and Jae & Steve's reception was no exception! Being cocktail style, we suggested lovely fresh submerged roses as the table dressing, teamed with tealights and fresh petal scatters. Our fairy light backdrop graced the dance floor area and a personalised decal for Jae & Steve was applied to the floor. A beautiful romantic cocktail function was the perfect setting for the bridal party and their friends.
Katrina and Nat were the lucky winners of the Riverlife Dream Wedding Competition and we were thrilled to be involved with a host of a-class wedding providers in Brisbane. We dressed the reception chairs with ivory satin chair sashes and added stylish elements to the reception room - a lolly buffet, wishing tree, fairy light backdrop, lanterns from the ceiling, toasting flutes & cake knife set and dressed present table. The centrepieces were created by an array of beautiful fresh florals by Julie Vine Flowers, the divine cake by Cake That!, dresses by Hills in Hollywood and Riverlife provided their spectacular wedding marquee as the location on the banks of the Brisbane River.
